• Step 4: The Laws - detailed decisions

  •

You have seen the six sections of the Laws proposed in Step 1, where we considered the overall structure.

I'd now like your feedback on what you think about the detailed recommendations for three of these sections (Trustees, Council and Membership meetings).

To look at these detailed recommendations, click on each section's picture below, or the 'Review and Comment' button, and follow the instructions on the page that opens in a new browser tab.

After completing your feedback for a section, please return to this page and start the next one - click on the green button below.

When you have finished all three, please come back to this page again, and skip to the next step using the gold button below.

  • Please note that:

Definitions and Administration are not included here at the moment, because these provisions will be drafted nearer the end of the process.

Membership is not included at the moment because:

    1) there is a separate workstream on categories and qualifications, leading up to the proposed EGM in January 2024 - proposals will come to Council as a whole for the December 15th meeting
    2) Brodies are leading on drafting proposals on Disciplinary and Removals, as they have more expertise here than I do.

  • Detailed recommendations for Membership meetings, the Board of Trustees, and Council

Click each image, title or green button to review the detail. Please work left to right, starting with Board of Trustees and finishing with Membership meetings.

  • Next: Optional Step 5 - return to the Fridge

If you'd like to add more to the Fridge, click on the button below.

  •

Don't want to return to the Fridge?

If you have completed Steps 1-4, in other words, if you've looked at..

    1. Overall structure
    2. Foundations
    3. Fridge
    4. Laws in detail for Trustees, details for Council and details for Membership meetings...

..then you have finished this review!

  • Thank you for your time and effort!
